A Family Passion
Bentharleys Stud and Sportshorses began as a dream within our family of six, all united by an unshakeable love for horses. Our journey started when our Mum established the stud at just 18 years old, with our oldest standing stallion, Charko. From these humble beginnings, our passion and dedication have allowed the stud to flourish. Kizzie and Lucy, the two eldest daughters, have since expanded our offerings with side services, further enhancing the Bentharleys experience.

At Bentharleys, we believe that every horse is an individual, deserving of the utmost respect and understanding. We treat each horse as a person in a four-legged body, recognising that no two horses are the same. This core belief guides our work, ensuring that every training and care decision is tailored to the unique needs and personality of each equine partner.
